When Molly was a little girl she always wanted just a tiny bit of pie with lots of ice cream! This Fall we made pie the way it was meant to be eaten, according to her! Wallingford Kitchen Manager Sasha created the most delicious apple butter, with honey crisp apples from Collins Family Orchard and organic nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar and local butter. Cinnamon ice cream is topped with this house-made compote, sprinkled with freshly baked pie crust, a dollop of whipped cream and a Chukar Cherry for the perfect Fall treat!
