our shops are closing temporarily

we're closing all shops for at least two weeks to slow the spread. staying home is the best thing that we can all do to keep our community safe.

dear molly moon’s fans,

first, i want to thank the hundreds of you who have purchased gift cards through the promotion we launched last week. it’s made a difference, and gift cards and online store purchases are a great way to support molly moon’s and other small businesses through this tough time.

second, i want to update you that, while we tried hard to keep our shops open and scooping ice cream safely, we came to realize over the weekend that social distancing wasn’t happening with all of our customers, and we know that the time for our city and region to act is NOW. slowing the spread of coronavirus will help our health care teams provide care to anyone who needs it and create a greater likelihood for our community to live through this pandemic.

so we’ve decided to close all molly moon’s shops for at least two weeks. the vast majority of us are going to stay home, and we hope you make this choice, too. the lives of our loved ones depend on each of us making every effort to be the most conservative we possibly can right now. wow -- that is REALLY not a sentence I ever thought I’d write!

we are closing so that our employees can stay safe at home, and we cannot encourage you enough to do the same. staying home is the first and most important thing you can do right now to help stop the spread of coronavirus, and save our community and economy.

our priorities are always our mooncrew, our community and the neighborhoods we are a part of. though we are in a challenging time as a country, our priority still remains the same, to put our community and our employees first.

we will most definitely be in touch with you as things progress and we hope to see you soon.

please stay safe, stay at home, stay healthy and take care of one another.

yours truly,

mm

p.s. we know many of you are supporting us and other small businesses through the use of delivery apps. we’d like to figure out how to continue to support those platforms while also keeping our employees safe. stay tuned for when we might be able to bring those services (and more!) back.
