Decorative gourd season is here, the pumpkins are plentiful, and that means pumpkin clove ice cream is back in our scoop shops! This perennial favorite is made with organic pumpkins from Stahlbush Island Farms in Corvallis, Oregon. The pumpkins are cooked with organic cane sugar and spiced with organic clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg until thick, bubbling, and filling our kitchens with a warm, spicy sweet scent. A scoop of this flavor feels like putting on that favorite sweater you’ve been waiting all year long to wear! Just like that fave sweater, now’s your chance to feel all the fall vibes with this pumpkin clove ice cream!
Sasquatch! It’s here! After bringing this cult classic into shops for a limited pint-only release earlier this year, we knew (due to the fervent fans who didn’t get their pints (sorry!!)) we had to bring it back to all of our locations this month. For the uninitiated, Sasquatch was created in 2009 when Molly and her friend, Adam Zacks, founder of the Sasquatch Music Festival, were inspired to collaborate to create an ice cream flavor inspired by the iconic Pacific NW music festival. Though the festival is a thing of the past, this flavor lives on! Our rich melted chocolate ice cream is swirled with homemade granola, organic and fair trade Theo Chocolate chunks, and ribbons of vanilla bean caramel. The granola is what makes this flavor so special! It’s roasted dark, after mixing together organic oats, pepitas, flax seeds, and local raw honey with a hint of cinnamon. This quintessential ice cream flavor is so darn good even our friends at the amazing cookie shop, Hello Robin will be serving it!
Vegan and dairy-free friends: rejoice! This month brings in the vegan version of our salted caramel that dares to be saltier than all other salted caramel ice creams. Our vegan salted caramel flavor is standalone perfection in a cone, cup or pint. However! If you want to gild the lily, create your own vegan version of molly’s favorite sundae by layering vegan salted caramel with our vegan hardshell, candied hazelnuts, coconut whip, and a chukar cherry.
On National Voter Registration Day we released Pie-den Kamà la Mode. As is our tradition since 2008, we release a candidate flavor, and this year it’s in honor of the Democratic Presidential and VP candidates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. A honeycrisp apple pie ice cream, sprinkled with streusel crumble, and swirled with a chai-spiced caramel. We hope that each bite of this incredible flavor inspires you to vote! ALL proceeds from this special flavor are being donated to When We All Vote, a non-profit organization on a mission to increase participation in every election and close the race and age voting gap. This limited edition flavor can be found in all of our scoop shops, our Madrona walk up window and at both Hello Robin locations.
