November Seasonals!

now scooping: dutch apple pie, berry cobbler & milk chocolate toffee

This month, in honor of National Native American Heritage Month, 10% of proceeds from our seasonal flavors (Berry Cobbler, Dutch Apple Pie, Milk Chocolate Toffee, and Vegan Cookie Dough) will be donated to Chief Seattle Club*.

Our Berry Cobbler ice cream is a beautiful example of all the love we put into our ice cream flavors. Each and every component of our ice cream is made in our neighborhood scoop shop kitchens, and this flavor is no exception. For this flavor we use fresh organic cranberries from Plenty Farm in Grayland, WA as well as raspberries and blueberries we purchased and froze during the height of this past summer. These berries are turned into a dark perky jam. Meanwhile we bake trays of warm flaky buttery cream scones. The scones are broken into bite sized chunks, and we fold them and the jam into a vanilla ice cream flecked with vanilla beans. You can find this ice cream at all of our scoop shops, including the Madrona walk-up window, as well as both Hello Robinlocations.

Our chefs and ice cream makers are turning tart and juicy apples from Collins Family Orchards into an annual fall favorite at molly moon’s- Dutch Apple Pie ice cream. We make a rich apple pie filling by cooking the apples in butter, fragrant with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg and swirl it into freshly churned sweet cream to make our spiced apple ice cream. And no dutch apple pie would be complete without a crisp crumble! We make ours with organic flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a dash of cardamom and then bake it until golden brown to make this ice cream irresistible. Grab a scoop or pint of this flavor at our scoop shops (except the Madrona walk-up window) as well as both Hello Robin locations.

Toffee is indisputably one of the top treats we like to find tucked into a silky ice cream. For our Milk Chocolate Toffee ice cream, we make our toffee with lots of butter, organic sugar, sea salt, and then sprinkle Theo 70% dark chocolate on top. After the toffee is cooled, we break it into bite sized morsels before folding them into our rich milk chocolate ice cream. This flavor is perfect in a cone or cup, or made into a decadent sundae topped with hot fudge or our seasonal orange marmalade jam, with whipped cream and a Chukar cherry on top! You can find this ice cream at all of our scoop shops except for the little Madrona walk-up window. This flavor is gluten-free!
