Meet Desiree Wilkins-Finch

Meet Desiree Wilkins Finch! Desiree is an amazing racial equity trainer and facilitator. We worked closely with her and @riselwp earlier this year to develop an intensive training and team building day with our leadership and management, team centered around racism, racial justice and equity. We spent a day sharing and participating in activities that allowed our team to reflect on their own experiences and understandings while creating a safe space to learn with one another. We recommend Desiree and her team at RISE LWP to facilitate these conversations in your workplace, and look forward to continuing this work with all of our shop teams. Thank you Desiree!

Desiree is dedicated to helping communities transform as they access their own strength, and convert it into power to take action. Her coaching is centered on the idea that leaders have the positionality to drive values in their organizations and communities, those values help drive behaviors, and those behaviors, ultimately, drive relationships, policies, and programs. Only when leaders center the values of justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion can they help shift behaviors and culture, resulting in organizations and communities that are truly transformed.
